In short: LockClock Aurum doesn't collect, store or share any of your personal data. Everything the app keeps stays on your phone.
LockClock Aurum ("LockClock", "the app") is made by ODN & Sons ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app. For our general developer policy covering all our apps, see the ODN & Sons Privacy Policy.
Information we collect
None. We don't collect, receive or store any personal or device information, and we have no servers that the app talks to.
What stays on your phone
- Your alarms, timers and stopwatch laps
- Your settings: clock face, colours, sounds and unlock method
- Sounds you add yourself
These are kept in the app's private storage on your device, which other apps can't read. They never leave your phone, and uninstalling the app deletes them.
What the app doesn't do
LockClock has no internet permission, so it can't send anything anywhere. There are no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone.
Permissions, and why
- Notifications: to show a ringing alarm or a finished timer.
- Alarms & reminders (exact alarms): to ring at the exact minute you set.
- Full-screen alarms: to show the alarm over the lock screen.
- Running in the foreground and keeping the phone awake: to keep ringing until you turn the alarm off.
- Vibration: for alarms, timers and gentle feedback when you tap.
- Starting at boot: to set your alarms again after the phone restarts.
None of these permissions gives the app access to your contacts, photos, location, microphone, camera or accounts.
Your own sounds
When you add a sound, you choose one audio file with Android's file picker. The app copies just that file into its own storage so it can play it as an alarm. It doesn't look at any other files.
Purchases
Premium is a one-time in-app purchase through Google Play. Google handles the payment under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy); the app never sees your payment details, only whether Premium has been bought.
Backups
If Android backup is turned on, your phone may include the app's alarms and settings in its backup to your Google account. Google handles that backup, and you can turn it off in your phone's settings.
Keeping and deleting your data
Because everything stays on your device, you're in control: delete individual alarms in the app, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app to remove everything. We hold no copy of your data, so there is nothing for us to delete or hand over.
Children
LockClock Aurum is suitable for all ages. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page and shown in the app, with a new effective date.
